With the development of ideas about interrupting views through the openings or “windows” in the works becoming more intriguing, and with light, translucency, reflectiveness and colour becoming integral elements of the composition of the wall sculptures, I turned to the use of laser-cut perspex, painted metal grids, silver and gold leaf. Also plywood became the standard material for constructing the works giving both strength, complexity of structure and great flexibility of approach.
